1. Scope and acceptance
These Terms and Conditions apply when you visit aegeanoil.ch, register an account or use the AegeanOil digital platform. By using the platform, you confirm that you have read and accepted these terms and any additional account notices shown to you.
2. Eligibility and account information
You must provide accurate, current and complete registration information, including a valid referral code where required. You are responsible for keeping your contact information up to date and for ensuring that your use of the platform is permitted in your location.
3. Account security
You must keep your password and access credentials confidential. You are responsible for activity performed through your account unless you have promptly notified support of suspected unauthorised access. We may suspend access to protect an account, investigate unusual activity or comply with legal obligations.
4. Platform roles and managed access
Administrators may assign managers and agents to defined client groups. An assigned representative may perform only the actions allowed by their role and client relationship. Administrative actions, balance adjustments, configuration changes and trade operations may be recorded for operational and security purposes.
5. Market data and availability
Quotes, charts, instrument information and derived metrics may be supplied by external sources, cached, delayed, interrupted or unavailable. Displayed prices are provided for platform operation and may differ from prices shown by another venue. AegeanOil does not guarantee uninterrupted access or error-free market data.
6. Orders and execution
A buy order uses the available Ask price and a sell order uses the available Bid price. Execution is subject to price availability, market status, account permissions and sufficient Free Margin. Take Profit and Stop Loss instructions are not guaranteed to execute at an exact price during gaps, interruptions or exceptional market conditions.
7. Leverage, margin and liquidation risk
Leverage increases exposure relative to Locked Margin and can magnify losses. Margin requirements can differ by market, instrument and client configuration. You must monitor Equity, Locked Margin and Free Margin and remain responsible for the risk of every open position.
8. Fees, spread and overnight financing
Applicable Bid/Ask spread, ticket fees and overnight swap adjustments are shown or made available through the platform. Swap rates may differ for buy and sell positions, by market type and by rollover schedule. Administrators may update configurable rates and settings, and changes apply according to their effective time.
9. Deposits and withdrawals
Funding requests are subject to review and status confirmation. Bank transfer instructions must be followed accurately. Withdrawal destinations must belong to the account holder unless an authorised exception is approved. Additional verification may be requested before funds are credited or released.
10. Acceptable use
You may not attempt to bypass security, access another user’s information, interfere with pricing or communications, overload data services, reverse engineer protected functions or use the platform for unlawful activity.
11. Risk acknowledgement
You acknowledge that market prices can move rapidly and that you may lose some or all funds committed to trading. Historical or simulated performance does not predict future results. Educational material and platform assistance do not constitute personalised investment advice.
12. Intellectual property
The platform design, software, branding, written material and original content are protected by applicable intellectual-property rules. Access to the platform does not transfer ownership or grant a right to reproduce protected material.
13. Limitation and service changes
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the platform is provided on an availability basis. Features, supported markets, data sources and access requirements may change for security, maintenance, legal or operational reasons. Nothing in these terms excludes rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
14. Privacy and communications
Account and operational information may be processed to provide the service, secure accounts, handle funding, meet legal obligations and respond to support requests. Service notices may be sent using the contact details associated with your account.
15. Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated when the service or applicable requirements change. The effective date above identifies the current published version. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
